Jess Rother has been an integral part of the team since August 2015, bringing with her a deep-rooted background in real estate and a passion for organization and client care. Her introduction to the industry began at a young age, inspired by her bonus mom, Barb, who built a successful real estate career—starting with Century 21 and later opening her own RE/MAX office in Newton.

Jess pursued that passion academically, graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Finance. She began her professional career at RE/MAX Concepts, where she worked in agent services and accounting, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the business. During that time, she also earned her real estate license and spent three years working as a REALTOR®, further strengthening her industry knowledge.

In 2015, after starting her family, Jess transitioned into an administrative role, aligning her expertise with her desire for balance. That same year, she connected with Kathy—and what began as perfect timing quickly turned into a lasting partnership. Today, with over a decade of teamwork behind them, Jess plays a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring every transaction runs smoothly and efficiently.

Jess and her husband, Mike, live in Newton where they are raising their three children. Her dedication behind the scenes allows Kathy to focus fully on serving clients, making their partnership a true asset to every buyer and seller they work with.
